Children will know most of the animals, but there are a few exceptions, such as the uakari and the vole. There's no appended roundup of animals or additional information about them, but the simple, uncluttered design and a concept that's right on target for little ones just learning their letters will attract a young audience. The alphabet, upper- and lowercase, appears on the endpapers. |
