| General note | The text introduces the dynamics of a system of particles in detail to study the motion of rigid bodies, assuming they are collections of particles. Rigid body motion is introduces along with moments and products of inertia, momental ellipsoid, principal axes, kinetic energy and angular momentum in terms of inertia constants.
