The book differential and integral calculus is especially written for a course in higher mathematics for engineering students. The book presupposes no special preparation beyond the ability to perform ordinary algebraic operations and some elementary knowledge of geometry acquired at colleges and universities. Though the text chapters 1 to 7 centres on calculus of one variable, analytic geometry and calculus of several variables are also developed in chapter 8. The last chapter 9 deals with series. We hope that this book will be very useful for the students who are studying this subject. The book is provided with relevant cross references.
