The present book is an outcome of an extended research on the interdisciplinary concept of class conflict. It is an extensive study of the concept of class and class conflict. It covers many great critics and philosophers, political thinkers and theorists, who have contributed in understanding the class and class conflicts. Furthermore, it also studies the causes and conditions that ignite class conflict. Understanding the relationship between society and literature is the key-concern of this work. The novels under the study reflect the conflict.

This book is a ready reference to the young aspirants to pursue their academic excellence in the area of literature in general and African and Indian English Novels in particular.
