<br/><br/> Mr Sharkey, a flashy real estate agent, shows the Morrisons many different houses, but none seems to suit them.<br/><br/>Ages 5-8. Wacky pictures tell a story that is about moving--sort of. When Mr and Mrs Morrison (they're dinosaurs) tire of their house (son Albert disagrees), they hook up with the aptly named real-estate agent, Mr Sharkey. Touring the town in Sharkey's old-fashioned convertible, the Morrisons feel that a mansion is "too big," a glass-and-concrete dwelling is "too new," and a haunted house is "too old." While the ending is predictable (the Morrison's old abode is just right after all), it in no way detracts from the book as a whole, especially Carter's colourful, detailed architectural drawings. A first-time children's illustrator, Carter is a graduate of the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design.
